Dr. O’s Practice

Dr. O’, as he is commonly referred to by his many ex-patients and colleagues, formerly maintained a rather unique practice in Framingham, Massachusetts (20 miles west of Boston). Dr. O’ limited his practice full time to the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from temporomandibular /craniomandibular / cervical pain and dysfunctions (both acute and chronic) (TMD/TMJ).

Dr. O’ s special approach in addressing the medical/dental problems of chronic pain patients has been adopted by hundreds of clinicians throughout North America. Many chronic pain victims came under his care after suffering 20 to 25 years, and who after being attended by 20 or 30 or more doctors, after being inundated with unnecessary medications, and had the quality of their lives improved to the point where they were free of medication. Perhaps one of the principal reasons for Dr. O’s success in this focus is because he also is a chronic pain victim.

In any given year, Dr. O’ would attend patients from many other states and other countries. Patients, particularly trauma victims, gone to him from these many places, either sent to him by their doctor, or because they had read one of his many published articles. They would stay anywhere from 2 days to a week until diagnostics were completed and would leave with treatment underway. Dr. O’ has hundreds of students in both Canada and the United States and either one of these doctors, or the victim’s own dentist would attend them under his direction once they had returned home.

In many of these cases involving trauma victims, Dr. O’ still teams up with the victim’s attorney to ensure that they are well served not only with effective treatment but also through the litigation process.

Dr. O’s seminars over many years have produced hundreds of clinicians well versed in his treatment techniques, and his network served his out-of-state and out-of-country patients well.

Dr. O’ s practice was totally dedicated full time to non-invasive, non-surgical, conservative treatment applications.

Dr. O’ has been a force in championing victims’ rights. One of the keys in Dr. O’s approach to treatment has been to restore dignity, self worth and confidence to these victims in the course of elevating the quality of their lives.
